Welcome to SAJO Volleyball
Thank you for choosing SAJO for your daughter’s volleyball club. SAJO strives to continuously improve upon previous seasons by listening to parents, coaches, and players. SAJO offers you the chance to:
- Play with friends you've grown up with and make new friends.
- Play for coaches who love the game of volleyball and have various experiences with playing and coaching at multiple levels.
- Practice locally and play tournaments throughout the Twin Cities and beyond.

Practice Schedule
Practice begins on Tuesday November 18, 2025. Practices are 2 hours twice per week. An hour-long skills and fitness program will occur once per week (every Monday) at Altius Sports Performance. Players will sign up via the Altius Link up for these skills training sessions.
This schedule is subject to change based on the teams that get rostered after tryouts:
During the season there may be unforeseen cancellations (ie- school closings due to weather), these practices may or may not be made up.
Tournaments/Play Dates
All teams will be registered for approximately 13 tournament/play days, which get scheduled shortly after teams are formed. The tournament season runs from January through April. All SAJO Teams will participate in:
- Kokoro Big City Luau (2-day tourney in Twin Cities): Jan 24-25, 2026
- JVA President’s Day tournament (2-day tourney in Twin Cities): Feb 14-15, 2026
- Med City tournament (2-day tourney in Rochester, MN): April TBD, 2026 for 15's and 16's and April TBD, 2026 for 12-14's.
- Fiesta (2-day tourney in Twin Cities): Apr 25-26, 2026
- Molten Series or Northern Lights Power League: 5 weekend 1/2 days, Jan - Apr 2026.

Fee Schedule (2025-2026)
The amount is $1,600 per player. This covers the cost of gym time, tournament costs, apparel (two jerseys, sweatshirt, sweat pants, spandex), coaches salaries, and Altius training.
There are four methods of payment that must occur on the day of Tryouts.

- Cash
- Venmo
- Credit Card: Service fee of approximately $53 to be paid by player
Apparel
Included in your SAJO fee is a jersey, sweatshirt, and a practice t-shirt.
Players will also need to provide: BLACK spandex volleyball shorts, volleyball shoes (or appropriate gym shoe) and knee pads as part of their uniform (available through our online store or can be obtained from sporting good stores).
