Welcome to SAJO Volleyball

Thank you for choosing SAJO for your daughter’s volleyball club. SAJO strives to continuously improve upon previous seasons by listening to parents, coaches, and players.  SAJO offers you the chance to:

 

  • Play with friends you've grown up with and make new friends in your community.
  • Play for coaches who love the game of volleyball and have various experiences with playing and coaching at multiple levels.
  • Practice locally and play tournaments throughout the Twin Cities and beyond.

2026-27 Practice Schedule

Tuesday Practice Schedule (Oak-Land Middle School):

10/11 Black: 5:30-7PM

12-1's, 12-2's: 5:30-7PM Practice, Altius 7-7:30PM

14-1's, 13-1's, 13-2's: 7:15PM Warm-Up, 7:30-8pm Altius, 8-9:30PM Practice

 

(Tentative) Wednesday Practice Schedule (Oak-Land Middle School): 

10/11 Black, 11/10 Red, In-House Teams: 5:30-7:30PM

 

Thursday Practice Schedule (Oak-Land Middle School):

10/11 Red: 5:30-7PM

12-1's, 12-2's: 5:30-7:30PM

14-1's, 13-1's, 13-2's: 7:30-9:30PM

During the season there may be unforeseen cancellations (ie- school closings due to weather), these practices may or may not be made up.

2026-27 Competition Schedule

The complete competition schedule will be given out at the Parent Meeting on November 8th. Below is tentative information provided to assist you in making decisions about which team may be right for you.

Travel Teams (14's, 13's, & 12's): Approximately 15 Dates of Competition, including several 2-Day Tournaments, Single-Day Tournaments, League Play, and Scrimmages.

Travel Teams (11/10's): Approximately 13 Dates of Competition, including one 2-Day Tournament, League Play, and Scrimmages

All SAJO Teams will participate in:

  • Frostbite tournament (2-day tourney in Rochester): Jan 17-18, 2027)
  • Kokoro Big City Luau (2-day tourney in Twin Cities): Jan 23-24, 2027
  • JVA President’s Day tournament (2-day tourney in Twin Cities): Feb 13-14, 2027
  • Duluth Cup: (Duluth, MN): April 10-11, 2027
  • Fiesta (2-day tourney in Twin Cities): Apr 24-25, 2027
  • League Play (see below)

2027 League Play

10/11's Teams: Either U12 Northern Lights (NL) Power League or NL Youth League, depending on the skill level of each team.

The 12's will be playing in the Northern Lights Power League:

This schedule will get more refined (which specific day of the weekend) later. However, we won't know which session (morning or afternoon) until approximately two weeks before each play date.

#1: Jan 9-10, 2027

#2: Jan 30-31, 2027

#3: Feb 20-21, 2027

#4: Mar 6, 2027 (14's), Mar 13, 2027 (12's)

#5: Mar 14, 2027 (14's), Apr 3-4, 2027 (12's not playing in 12's Cup)

NL 12's Cup (2-day tourney): Apr 3-4, 2027

13/14's will participate in Korkoro League One
