SAJO Player Code of Conduct Policy
As a condition of membership with SAJO, each player of the SAJO organization is required to acknowledge and adhere to this Code of Conduct.
- Always arrive at practice, training sessions and competition events on time and ready to actively participate
- Always notify your coach in writing (email/text, per coach preference) if you will miss a practice, training session or competition
- Always show respect and good sportsmanship during all interactions with teammates, competitors, coaches, and officials whether in practice, training, competitions, etc.
- Always refrain from the use of alcohol, tobacco and controlled substances
- Intimidation or bullying will not be tolerated. This includes physical, verbal and written intimidation of any individual such as teammates, coaches or officials (including the use social media)
- Any fraud, deception or dishonesty in connection with any SAJO-related activity will not be tolerated
*Any violations may be grounds for being excused from the SAJO club as determined by the SAJO Board of Directors. The players’ club fees will also be forfeited.
